1959 Alfa Romeo 2000 Touring Spider
The Alfa Romeo 2000 Touring Spider, introduced in 1958, is a classic Italian roadster known for its elegant lines and advanced engineering for the time. The body was designed by Carrozzeria Touring and built using their Superleggera technique, which involved mounting lightweight aluminum panels over a framework of thin steel tubes. This kept the car light while allowing for the flowing, sculpted shape that defines its look.
This 2000 Touring Spider has undergone a complete bare metal, nut and bolt restoration. Powered by a 2.oL twin-cam inline-four and a five-speed manual transmission, it is both quick and smooth to drive for it’s time. Premium aesthetic modifications have been made such as the nappa leather trim and finish in a Maserati blue from the 2000’s.
