1966 Daimler 250 Rat Rod
This custom build pairs raw character with refined engineering, delivering a unique interpretation of classic style and modern performance. Powered by a 4.0L Ford Barra engine with a six-speed electronically controlled automatic gearbox, it offers effortless power and smooth drivability. Supported by upgraded front disc brakes and adjustable coil-over rear suspension, bringing confident handling to match its bold presence.
Finished in a Rat-Rod inspired matte black with hand-formed bonnet vents and custom rear flares, the exterior has an industrial, aeronautical edge. Inside, the cabin is fitted with classic black leather, a brushed copper switch panel, and timber accents stained in black Japanese ink and sealed in satin epoxy – honouring vintage materials with a modern twist. With electric power steering, a Mota-Lita steering wheel, and a clever integration of the original column gear selector to suit the updated drivetrain, this build captures the spirit of innovation with a deep respect for its heritage.
